Booking
You book your axe throwing date with our booking calendar here on the page
Briefing
You come to Rage Axe and register at our counter with your booking. Then one of our Axeperts will give you a safety briefing and explain axe throwing to you
Let the games begin
After a few practice throws, your Axepert will show you various games in which you can compete against each other
What is the best thing to wear?
Clothing
It is important to wear a comfortable top that does not restrict your movements. You can test at home whether you could make a soccer ball throw-in with your top. If you feel too restricted in your movement, you should wear something else.
Tip for men: Men, please don't wear shirts that are too tight. They may look good, but they could restrict your movement.
Forbidden: Hoodies, as you can easily get caught on the hood when throwing.
Footwear
Please wear closed shoes. They do not have to be boots with steel toe caps, but the toes should simply be closed. It's all about your safety. Women should also avoid wearing shoes with heels, as this also increases the risk of injury.
Tip for the ladies: Ladies, please do not wear shoes with heels. Sneakers or sports shoes are best suited for axe throwing.
Forbidden: Flip flops, as these pose a high risk of injury.
How does axe throwing work?
Place both hands on the handle of the axe as if you were holding a baseball bat. Make sure that the blade of the axe is straight.
Take the axe behind your head, similar to the movement you would make if you were throwing a soccer. Lean back a little.
Now throw the axe forwards in a relatively quick movement. Let go of the axe with outstretched arms.
Further throwing techniques
Hold the axe with one hand. Angle your arm 90° and grasp your target.
Swing the axe over your head as if you were throwing a ball.
When your arm is stretched out parallel to the ground, let go of the axe and swing your arm further down. This should create a fluid movement.

Swing axes completely undisturbed
Do you already know our Separee? Then it’s about time! In this VIP room, which is separated from the other lanes, you are completely undisturbed by the other Rage Axe visitors and can cheer as loudly as you like.
Every Saturday we open the private room, which is equipped with 3 throwing lanes. Then you can enjoy 115 minutes of pure action with axe and knife throwing! If you would like to fortify yourself with delicious food and refreshing drinks after the lumberjack work-out, you are also welcome to take advantage of our catering in the Separee.
For the all-inclusive price of 350 € you get:
- 3 throwing lanes and own lounge area
- Recommended for groups between 7-15 people
- 115 minutes of axe and knife throwing in the separee

More than just axe throwing!
With us, you don’t just throw axes, because we have worked out over 15 different game variants for you. For example, you can compete against each other in darts-like tournaments or try to achieve a goal together. Axes are not enough for you? Throwing knives are also part of our assortment!
By the way, we guarantee you maximum safety, as all our throwing lanes are separated by steel grids. We also do not use any rubber-like materials, so that no axe can spring back!
